Tennis Fever at Loch Leven’s Larder

Loch Leven’s Larder got into the tennis spirit during the Wimbledon season (21st June to 4th July) by offering visitors who shared their name with the UK’s leading champion and World Number four player Andy Murray, the chance to bag a free punnet of strawberries. Staff were also delighted to get into the spirit of things by dressing up in their favourite tennis gear for the occasion, to show their support for the Perthshire tennis ace. Emma Niven, head of the business, said: “Strawberries are a great treat for summer – when they are in season – and we wanted to offer those lucky enough to share their name with Andy Murray the chance to taste them for free, here at the Larder.” The Larder offers a fantastic setting to indulge in the finest strawberries and cream Scotland has to offer. And for the strawberry lovers, there is a heavenly range of other luxurious strawberry treats including strawberry tarts and strawberry cheesecake. Visitors can also go ‘berry mad’ this summer and take home strawberry themed home ware from ‘SIA’ – a delightful range of cushions, napkins, tablecloths and tableware, ranging from £3.95 to £69.99.
